Mitchell Wasserman, president of The Wasserman Consulting Group, Inc. (WCG), in Cleveland, Ohio, brings 25 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, marketing, communications, public relations, sales and fundraising to his clients.
In the non-profit sector, Wasserman served as the chief fundraising executive and marketing officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Cleveland, Cleveland Scholarship Programs, Inc., and Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland.
While in the for-profit arena, he spent thirteen years in managed health care working for organizations including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Ohio, the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Sears Dental, where he launched profitable businesses and products and programs, and turned around financially troubled organizations. He brings insight and passion to every assignment with which he is engaged.
Mitch serves the community as a member of the visiting committee of Case Western Reserve University’s (CWRU’s) Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, the boards of trustees and executive committees of the Jewish National Fund and the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and the board of trustees of Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters. Wasserman received his master’s in business administration with a concentration in health systems management from CWRU’s Weatherhead School of Management.
